The JFHOD, Francophone Days of Hepato-gastroenterology and Digestive Oncology, are the leading French congress of diseases and cancers of the digestive system and the second European congress of the specialty in terms of affluence. They are organized by the SNFGE, French National Society of Gastroenterology in collaboration with the FMC-HGE, French National Association for Continuing Education in Hepatogastrology. The JFHOD gather more than 5,000 participants each year including about 4,000 delegates (hepatogastroenterologists and oncologists, but also digestive surgeons, pediatricians gastroenterologists, researchers, radiologists, internists, biologists, anatomo-pathologists, general pra...ctitioners, interns, students medicine), more than 200 GIFE nurses and 800 exhibitors. Scientific and continuing medical education sessions, organized with partner scientific societies, cover all fields of the discipline. Hepatogastroenterology is one of the largest medical specialties including diseases and cancers affecting the esophagus, stomach, liver, bile ducts, pancreas, small bowel, colon and anus. It goes far beyond other areas of medicine: oncology, surgery, nutrition, radiology, pediatrics, biology, pathology, genetics, nuclear medicine, immunology, virology, bacteriology, parasitology, etc. Each year one or more themes are put forward, a French-speaking country and a European scholarly society are invited. Around 60 industrial partners also participate each year in the JFHOD through an exhibition of more than 1,600 m2 of stands, morning workshops, symposia, technocenters and various forms of partnerships.En savoir plus
