A ‘must visit’ for The Trade
My main reason for attending was because I had been invited to be a panellist on two sessions - Investment & Convenience - in the innovation zone. Both of ‘my’ sessions were very well attended and expertly controlled by Richard Siddle of The Buyer. Good questions and very relevant Q&A’s made the event very worthwhile for me.

Gets better each year
I believe that the London Wine Fair is a great experience, a great business opportunity and is well organized. For me it's the second year and I've found improvements in the organization.

Still an important event for someone in the trade
LWF is a good networking opportunity and there are some exciting prospects to explore in the esoterica and unearthed sections. However few exhibitors ever seem that excited to be there and this year there was no Wine GB presence, which - given how good 2018 was for English wine - is just bizarre. If it's a case of money, the LWF should be supporting the English wine trade with space regardless and supporting a thriving home grown market. Generally there's something lacking in the atmosphere at LWF. Are the exhibitors just unhappy with the return?

The price increase has shown with low participation
As always the LWF is the highlight of the wine trade yearly events. This year the organizer has increased the price of exhibiting by up to 35% (after a 3 years price-freeze) and that, coupled with the Brexit s**t-storm, meant that the ground floor was the least busy in recent years, with fewer stands pathetically spread out to cover the whole area. The Esoterica section was buzzing as usual and all considered it's still a positive expo as far as we are concerned

Interesting insight into the commercial world of wine
Clearly the show to be at if you buy wine. Wines from both established producers in the main area, and from smaller producers and distributors on the upper floor.

Awesome Event, highly recommend.
The London Wine Fair was a great event. There was such a varied range of brands and wines and I thought it was well executed. I was there on the Wednesday and there was still a good buzz in the event. Everyone was friendly and it gave some incredible insight into the current market and what are going to be the Wines to look out for this year! All in all, I think the event was well run and would highly recommend anyone to go along to the next one. This was my first year going and I will definitely be going next year. I met some great people and businesses and will be continuing to keep in contact with them. It is a great location to connect with lots of Wine Suppliers which has benefited us greatly.

It was a great experience for us (a small wine bar in London) ! We had the opportunity to meet with suppliers from all around the world and the chance to taste a lot of wines.
