This will be the 15th time AMI has run a conference dedicated to this industry and since its launch Stretch & Shrink Film has established itself as the forum where the industry meets to discuss key trends and market features influencing business developments and profitability. The event regularly attracts all the key players from across the whole supply chain from within Europe as well as globally which typically represents over 2 million tonnes of polymer purchase. In addition to film producers, the audience includes raw material suppliers, distributors, machinery producers, end customers, investors etc. The two-day programme will cover the latest technical developments and market trends... in this dynamic sector. The conference sessions will be complemented by a focused table-top exhibition and plenty of networking opportunities, including an evening cocktail reception and the conference dinner. Currently, many millions of euros are lost annually as a result of goods becoming damaged in transit. This trend has been on the increase as a result of downgauging across all levels of packaging (i.e. primary, secondary and tertiary) which can have a serious impact on the overall load stability. Companies need to understand that it is the optimisation of the overall packaging system that is critical to the safe transport of palletised goods.
