Great Content!
I attended ShopTalk CPH 2018 and it was well worth attending. The content was plentiful and interesting. The organisation of the event was excellent, all talks and rooms were well laid out and the staff were everywhere and on hand to assist. The Google party on the last night was great for networking and a fab way to end the three days. ShopTalk arrange meetings for brands/suppliers and there's a section in the show for this with lots of tables. We weren't aware of this beforehand but I think this would be good to organise pre-show to fully maximise business opportunities. I imagine it will come with a significant cost, but could be a great way to guarantee business/relationships if you have the budget.

Hosted Program <3
Shoptalk is a great opportunity to have one-on-one meetings with large businesses. They offer a hosted program where they match sponsors with attendees, which seems to be even more valuable than having a booth. It allows you to have access to decision-makers in the U.S. that you wouldn't otherwise, and to have personalized conversations that you can prepare for. However, these meetings look a little bit like "speed dating". You essentially have 15 minutes to make an impression as a sponsor and get as much information as possible about your prospect. It was an overall great experience.
