Would be nice if there were social media businesses

As a budding professional who's still learning the ins and outs of marketing, I found Internet Summit 2019 both fascinating and informative. There were lectures and info sessions on a wide variety of ...topics, including social media management, the future of AI, SEO... you name it! Granted, not every speaker delivered a list of actionable items, but still — by the end of the second day, I was excited to get back to work and experiment with some of the new techniques and tricks I'd learned. Even if you've already heard some the same information before, there was something to be said for the entertainment value of the featured guest speakers. Reshma Saujani delivered a powerful and empowering interview about her work teaching girls to code; Randi Zuckerberg sang (literally), danced (no joke), and gave us the gospel on personal branding; and Rand Fishkin brought the house down while reading aloud the obituary for organic search, engagement, and competition. My final word? If you're beginning your career or you're the manager of a team of green faces, this convention is a worthwhile investment. Internet Summit in Raleigh was a unique experience. The venue was great. The selection of speakers, number of attendees, the staff, the VIP accomodations were all great! You really will learn a ton of... things crammed into a few days. You can immediately take what you learn and put it into practice. It's not just a summit, but a community. Many come back year and year and stay connected on various social media platforms and groups. As a speaker, they made sure you were set. Tech team was great.
