small event but good exposure
my business is selling photography automation technology, its a new thing in indonesia, and event like this is really helping me to get exposure. this is my first time with e2e commerce so not so many comparison about wich event is the best. overall, the event is not big, its 2 days and not so many exhibitor . but alot of high profile and potential visitor is coming in my opinion. with this size of event and type of visitor, its a great advantage for us, visitor tend more to be relax and we can give information more clear. our booth also get exposed on the national media this event is highly recommendedTraduire
Just another event like others promoting ecommerce from the point of view of big marketplace
I was asked to give my review on this year e2eCommerce Indonesia. I ran an event myself and I know it is very difficult to balance between sponsor message and education message. Unfortunately, most events fall under the same trap of becoming more and more sponsors-driven activity. But the one that I think the biggest problem with most of the e-commerce events in the region is the lack of real story from the retail side. The theme of the event should be "bringing together key players to encourage conversations on both strategic and operational issues and help bring forth the advance system solution for brands & retailers". But where are the voices of brands and retailers? The only two retailers presence in the event are one from Kanmo Group and one from MAP group. More than 50% of the conversation is driven by Marketplaces such as Blibli, Tokopedia, Lazada. Where are the voices that telling retail the other half of the story about how to protect your customer while doing business with Marketplace? Yes, the marketplace will get your products to expose to their customers, but it is 'their' (marketplace) customers not the sellers. Is it true that all matters is the num... Voir plusTraduire
