McCormick Place: Comprehensive Event Overview in 2026 and 2027

Planning your visit to McCormick Place: buildings, halls and entrances

McCormick Place includes the North, South and West Buildings and Lakeside Center. Check your event’s building and hall before choosing an arrival point. The North and South Buildings use 2301 S. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive; the West Building entrance is on S. Indiana Avenue, and Lakeside Center is on S. Jean Baptiste Point DuSable Lake Shore Drive. Use the official campus maps to locate your entrance.

Prepare your exhibitor brief

Give your booth builder the show name, building, hall, booth number, dimensions and installation dates. Include any machinery, demonstrations, meeting space or hanging signage in the brief so the proposal reflects how you will use the stand. The organizer’s exhibitor manual is the starting point for show-specific suppliers, order forms and deadlines. Use it alongside McCormick Place’s exhibitor resources, and agree who will coordinate freight, installation and service orders.

Getting to the trade show

The Metra Electric line serves a station at McCormick Place’s Grand Concourse. Compare the station and your planned drop-off point with your actual hall location. When choosing a hotel, check the route to your building and whether your organizer offers a shuttle; a campus address alone does not tell you which entrance is most convenient.

Compare booth builders serving McCormick Place

Explore the suppliers listed for this venue and ask about projects relevant to your booth size, industry and show. Request an itemized proposal covering design, graphics, transport, installation and dismantling, with venue services and other exclusions clearly identified. Share the same brief with each supplier to make the quotes easier to compare.
