World Maritime Rescue Congress 2025

Overview

WMRC 2019 will be the fourth cycle of the quadrennial World Maritime Rescue Congress where pursuit and salvage experts, industry and governments combine to share understanding and best practice and to set the course for the fate of oceanic SAR. The principal congress was facilitated in 2007 at the twentieth International Lifeboat Conference in Sweden and has since headed out to Shanghai, China in 2011 and Bremerhaven, Germany in 2015. The subject for WMRC 2019 will be "Gaining from the past; looking to the future", which we expectation will empower members to both profit by exercises learnt, while getting an understanding into developments and advances that will help shape sea SAR tasks ...of things to come.Read more
