I’ve attended Social Media Marketing World every year since it’s inception. It’s the conference for connections and conversations of what’s to come in social media. The networking is phenomenal! I had an absolutely wonderful time at SMMW. The sessions I attended were packed with information, and almost all of the speakers were clearly so passionate and energetic about what they do. The table ...talks were SO beneficial, and it was inspiring to hear from different industries and agencies about what works and what doesn't work for them. I've been attending this event every year since its first one in 2013! My main motivation to attend is for the networking opportunities: all the social media pros I want to connect with are there, in ...the same spot, for 4 days. It's a unique opportunity for me to connect with all of them. The content is mostly great, though there are a LOT of sessions and you have to spend some time picking the ones you really want to attend. It has the pros and cons of big events (4500 attendees): - pros: everybody in the industry is there, this is unique and very valuable for networking - cons: it's pretty crowded so you have to be mindful of who you want to meet with and what content you want to get because there are way too many to meet/see them all. Been to #SMMW for 3 years straight so something has to be right. We aren’t a marketing agency and yet go back for the latest tips tricks info and physcie on this space that to us is the future or comm...unication in society. But if you a marketing agency your mad if you don’t go, the connections, and recordings along cover the cost. Voir plus

I’ve attended this show nearly every year since it began and it’s never failed to bring me value. Speakers are all accessible and many times I learn as much from the attendees as from the sessions.

Highly recommend checking out this event to anyone that may be interested. I would think more along the lines of online/inbound marketing and not just social media marketing. So much information is sh...ared at this 3-day event, I recommend mapping out your days before going and signing up for the all-access pass so that you can have the recorded sessions available to you after the event concludes, as well as the all-access after parties and pre-session classes such as a tambourine dance class or yoga, that are only included with all-access. I speak at many large social media and video conferences and this is the best social media event of the year hands down.
