Hotelex Shanghai is a great event that for a brand company to be connected with the market,

This is my third time to attend Hotelex Shanghai since 2016. I'm a big fan and enthusiasm on global coffee industry chain. The drinking market in my country is aiming at tea consumption rather than a ...cup of Joe though we have more than 100 years of planting history in Yunnan province, south west of China, comparing with more than 300 years of coffee drinking history of European countries. I know coffee bean over there is less taste sweet and less worthy on its commercial products but it does devotes to be a supplier to some big coffee companies like Nestle, Starbucks, Costa these chains and other local specialty coffee roasters which have been leaded by Specialty Coffee Association many years ago. I heard it from this April Shanghai exhibition that Qima Coffee based in London will gather Yemen small farmers joining auction with ACE in this July with more than 500 micro lots. That's a stunning news in ACE history along with Ethiopia will be held CoE in coming next year . I'm expecting the Big Day belongs to our Yunnan farmers will have this opportunity and honor to introduced by CoE spark this global stage. Along with Hotelex regular be taken in China , especial this year TsingTao City is added to be the 5th host place. Economics growth will be brought by series of world coffee events competitions project . Coffee is getting hotter in this land. More and more coffeehouses are opened and foreign investments coming to my country to construct a whole new coffee market. We have been present with our company for many years on the HOTELEX Shanghai, for me though it was the first time to see this event in person. Coming from coffee & tea business I have been told that t...he number of halls concerning this topic has risen dramatically over the last years and that booths have become much more professional. For me it was a great opportunity to meet people, showcase our brand and also explore competitors and our suppliers. The audience was very international, which helped a lot in terms of language barriers. The HOTELEX was very succesful and I am looking forward to be there again next year! Leer más

Hotelex Shanghai will be for the future a good business exchange opportunity.

I understand that hotelex is originally considered a b2b exhibtion. However, with the growing popularity of coffee in geberal, this exhibition has recently been attracting more consumers. This provid...es the perfect opportunity to expend the target group. By allocating at least o e of the days on a weekend, more consumers would have the chance to visit. Additionally, i would request a more clear allocation. Of space according to industry... we had a booth next to us which was not focused on coffee and they were completely lost in our hall. Huge exhibition with a lot of different kind of exhibitors. Very interesting for business

The exhibition has two sets of conferences going on at the same time, so that visitors can have a better chance of finding some topics worth sticking around for, than if there is only once conference to go to all the time. Both sets of conferences were in general well attended to and in some cases nearly packed to the full. One shortcoming to the conferences is that are two few third-party independent industry experts speaking and there are too many owners or senior executives of companies speaking.
