It was my first year and it was a well-organized smorgasbord of new and emerging opportunities. We appreciated Casey reaching out to the Canadian Chamber of Commerce to introduce this opportunity to s...ome of our members who haven't experienced this conference before. With some experience of this event under our belt, we look forward to extending this opportunity to more of our members next year, either as speakers/panellists or discount rate to the conference next year. Rise provided a great opportunity for fast track learning on tech innovations, social media, robotics along with the people behind the businesses. The presentations were both informative and entertain...ing from both established brands and start-ups locally and globally. Attendees were full of energy and positivity. Everyone seemed to be in the mood to network. The app was really helpful and allowed me to plan my schedule well. Considering the crowds the layout plan worked and of course the venue was very convenient. The only part that was disappointing was the F&B, perhaps that can be improved next year. Mehr lesen

It was my pleasure to volunteer for this excellent-organized e...vent and meet hundreds of industry experts, listen to success stories of startups and build a network with amazing people sharing the similar dreams and passion about future and future of work. Thanks to the team behind the scene who made it possible and I had one of my best summer events which I learned a lot about startups and the future technology, shared the enthusiasm of the like-minded people and discovered the magical cultural of Hong Kong. I really enjoyed the event. The content of many discussions, roundtables and talks was very relevant for me. Lots of interesting contacts. What could be improved: more space for the Alpha! We had some great guests on the show from among the RISE speakers.

1. Women in Tech was a great idea but not well organised. Like to see real pitching and matching activities. Women tend to chat and bond but unable to structure concrete next steps. 2. More professio...nal moderators please. Some are like more emcees and interrupt the speakers. Engage the Journalists please. 3. If the speakers are not native English speakers, please advise them to speak in their own languages and have captions translated on time instead. Thanks Overall, it was a good event.
