Connecting with so many industry professionals at one event is extremely valuable to me and my company.

Worthwhile opportunity to connect with like minded people from the industry. The value for myself was to meet friends from different chapters and get insights on how FM works in US, as they seem to be... setting the trends. One should not forget that FM is a local business and all inputs/trends/lessons learned/experiences should be considered, aggregated and composed into best practises. Overall a great experience. The main challenge at IFMA was finding the courses and sessions. They were three floors upstairs or in the basement. My main issues with the sessions were that they were first come, first served. If... you were in one session and wanted another popular session, you weren’t going to get a seat. Also, I typically stand in the back of the room rather than sit all day. The room guards enforced a no standing order for the venue. I paid all that money, scheduled all those sessions, and didn’t get to attend one course or session. What a rip off. Mehr lesen

IFMA World Workplace is one of the best venues to see and hear what is going on across the industry. I would like to see more sessions on leadership, change and elevating the role of the FM. The conte...nt is hit or miss. It is hard to know by course descriptions the quality of the presenter or content. The conference format is not evolving with the need to have more conversations and build stronger networks.
