Since its debut in 2001, Kazakhstan International Powerexpo Almaty exhibition annually presents a full range of the most modern equipment, technologies and services for energy industry specialists, becoming a traditional platform for business meetings, experience exchange, new contacts establishment and business negotiations. The exhibition is annually supported by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Administration of Almaty city; JSC "Samruk-Energy"; JSC «Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company KEGOC»; Kazakhstan Electricity Association; Kazakhstan Association of Energy Auditors and Union of Power Engineers of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2012, The Global Associat...ion of the Exhibition Industry has awarded Power Kazakhstan exhibition (current Powerexpo Almaty) with "UFI Approved Event" sign, which further consolidated its status of international event. Research and educational institutions, installation and development organizations; manufacturers and suppliers of electrical equipment, cable-conductor products, control systems, communications, relay protection and automation, means of diagnostics and lighting products are invited to take part in Powerexpo Almaty. In 2024, the exhibition attracted 186 companies from 12 countries, including Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Russia, Thailand, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and the Czech Republic. Collective stands were presented by the Republic of Mordovia, MOSPROM, and the Omsk, Volgograd, and Arkhangelsk regions. The "Uzeltexsanoat" Association organized a large collective stand for Uzbek manufacturers for the first time. Attendance also grew significantly. In 2024, Powerexpo Almaty was attended by 3,506 industry professionals.
