### Great experience as an Undergrad — 4.8/5

I attended as a young person having won tickets through the CREation property network Hastingwood. I am currently an undergrad on placement and I have to say the event really is worthwhile! The talks were very informative and the event really helps you to better understand the industry that you will be going into. It is definitely an event I would strongly recommend university and firms to try to send some of there students/younger employees to.

MIPIM is certainly not be missed, with careful planning and preparing well in advance you can certainly make the trip pay for it self and also build up your client base, it’s the best networking event on the calendar.. 

In 2019 I did 43 appointments in 4 days alone with new and existing clients and to do this back in the UK would take months and a lot of organising with a lot of wasted time in traveling..

Colleagues of mine have been for the last few years and described a heaving event with a varied mix of industry professionals. This was not what I experienced at MIPIM UK. The presentations were ok - however the Digital Infrastructure one was not really about that it was centred firmly on 5G and SMART cities as concepts rather than the specific topic of digital infrastructure. There were not many opportunities to network and I thin there were more exhibitors than delegates. It seemed as if anyone who was looking to do marketing/brand awareness for the place they represented were local authorities and whilst it's great to network with them it would have been better if there had been more property processionals/developers in the room.
