We were there with one of our Clients setting up their custom exhibit. Interesting decision to combine the various retailer venues.

I attended IRCE last year in order to analyze the event and check if it's worth investing as a sponsor (with a booth) this year. Attendees were really qualified (large retailers mostly from the U.S., ...but sometimes from Europe and other countries as well). Conferences were really interesting and were always about topics related to e-commerce (how to internationalize your e-commerce business, how to create and implement a content marketing strategy, etc.). So if you offer e-commerce services/platforms or if you work in this space, this is a great trade fair. However, if you wish to go as a sponsor, get ready to spend money. American companies usually invest heavily in events, handing out food and gifts to attendees, and sometimes even offering games and distractions (such as a robot that people can take pictures with, even when they don't specialize in robotics). Bottom line: lots of interesting prospects, lots of competition, and to make money with this event you need to spend money. Read more
