A wide range of classes are offered in topics ranging from... weddings and fashion to family and senior photography, even real estate but the best part of the conference are the free photo shoots each day, the opportunities to use the “models on loan” program to create your own photo shoot in downtown Chicago’s parks and beauty, the shooting bays that give you the chance to create on your own and best of all, the group of people who attend. The conference gives creatives in all areas of image making; photographers, models, HMU artists, a chance to mingle and form a community. I've attended ClickCon 3 years in a row and I'm very excited to attend for the 4th year in August 2023. The organizers really care about the experience of their attendees, speakers, models, make up ar...tists, hair stylists, wardrobe stylists, set designers, volunteers, and staff.This is the best photography conference in the Midwest - bar none. If you want to get creative this is where you do it. if you want to learn and advance in your field, this is where you do it. If you want to have fun and network and get more business opportunities, this is where you do it. If you want to learn from the top ranked speakers in the WORLD - this is where you want to be! I love ClickCon and come back year after year because the experience is PRICELESS! I would encourage anyone to come and get creative with us! I have spoken at photography conventions for several years, and what sets Ckickcon apart is the attention to detail. The organizer has gone to great lengths to figure out what works and what doesn't a...t conventions. She is also always listening to what the attendees and speakers want to ensure it is a great expirience. Also, options! Rather than being forced to photograph with in the confines of the convention, there are numerous outdoor locations available as weel. All of the locations are listed on the website, and there is a blanket permit to shoot within these areas of the city. I have never known any other conference to obtain such a permit to make the shooting possibilities endless. This is a very welcoming crowd with no drama, and no cliques that I have seen in the 3 years I have been there. Read more

It all began in 2019 with a trip to Chicago at the recommendation of some other Photography "heavy-weights" and then sponsor, ProCam USA. I wanted to up my experience and exposure in the photographic ...community. I was starting out... just a hobbiest of sorts with a basic DSLR and some kit lenses. I quickly caught the energetic and enthusiastic "FAMILY" vibe, even the night before the conference. Some of the greatest in the industry, Scott Robert Lim, Peter Hurley, Lindsay Addler and more were all there and before the conference had even begun, there I was creating images like I had never imagined I'd be able to create. As the conference entered its 1st day, I was quickly making friends and associations and met the wonderful Sherry Haggerman and her team of exceptional creatives. By end of the week, I was so overtaken by the sheerly AMAZING week and connections I had made, I began asking the ClickCon Team how I could help spread the word. Enter 2020 and the world was introduced to COVID... we were forced to hunker in place and avoid our social interactions; yet once again, Sherry and the Team chose to continue on their track of "FAMILY" and were the first to introduce monthly online classes and created so many ways for us all to stay in touch with one another. As restrictions lifted slowly, they organized little mini-events throughout the year, throughout the country to keep us all energized and our creative passions flowing... I chuckled inside as I watched other conferences copying the heartbeat and passion that Sherry and the ClickCon Team did as part of "Community and Family", yet tried their best to "monetize" it without the success that Sherry and ClickCon were achieving. 2021 - we were finally able to have a scaled back conference, and despite many countries and states still enforcing restrictions due to COVID, the conference SOLD OUT and VENDORS were scrambling to be a part of the conference... the MAGIC was beyond words as everyone came together and the feelings of reconnecting with "family" echoed throughout the conference and in every face you met... we were all in it together and everyone was there to contribute and learn from one another. 2022 - though I wasn't in physical attendance due to other travels at the time, I was included by so many I had met the years before and as the "Ambassador" that I felt like I was there in person. Not one day went by where someone didn't reach out and inquire/wish I was there. No words can ever express the joy of knowing that though still a very humble reviewer of my own capabilities, the excitement of having "family" reach out to you and express their appreciation for you and more. This "FAMILY", this "COMMUNITY"... it's not just during ClickCon's Conference days... it's year long, life long relationships. Virtually every public shoot I go on, I'm meeting people and embracing the love and "familial" spirit. Everyone from the beginner to the well-established Professional with many years of experience come together and work with one another to lift each other up and share our passions for creativity and freezing memories in time. When you meet fellow ClickCon Alumni outside of ClickCon, there is an instant connection, an instant vibe that "this is FAMILY" and the joy of that support and encouragement radiates and becomes infectious to everyone around you and lasts for days, weeks, months. No words, no other event (and I have been to a zillion it feels) captures what ClickCon created its 1st year and has built on since... whether your an attendee, a vendor, a beginner, or an established professional... ClickCon is the FAMILY and the MEMORIES you'll embrace and hold onto FOREVER!! Read more

ClickCon was an amazing opportunity to learn while networking with photographers from all over! The classes were fulfilling, the activities were amazing and people met were spectacular! I’ve made frie...nds that I will probably have for a lifetime in a business of making beautiful art, portraits and concepts! Don't look any further it is really for every level whether you are experienced photographer or just bought your first camera you will bring many new ideas home.

I've modeled for all the ClickCon convention and some the meetups during the pandemic. They are so great with making sure that representation matter with regards to diversity of models. All shapes, si...zes, ages, colors, genders and more. Everyone matters and is made to feel that they are important and vital to the conference. The photos I have received at this conference have opened doors for me. In 2019, images from this convention got me accepted to Coco Rocha's world-famous invitation-only model camp. The images from 2021 helped get me signed with one of the top modeling and acting agencies in Chicago. I can't wait to see what doors the images from 2022 open for me. Read more
