## Description

WWDMAGIC brings you the largest selection of women's apparel and accessories in the industry. The latest women’s and juniors’ trends, the most-wanted brands and the hottest emerging designers —they’re all happening on our vibrant show floor. It’s a can’t-miss shopping experience complete with upbeat music, undeniable beauty, and of course, style.

The tradeshow was inaugurated in 1933 by the Men's Apparel Guild in California. At one time it featured only men's clothing and accessories, but has expanded to include ladies' clothing and accessories, and manufacturing services. In 1989 it moved to Las Vegas.

I was impressed with the August 2019 edition of MAGIC. I felt it was vastly better organized and featured better events than the February edition. I also love the streamlined nature of having all of the shows in a single venue.

It was a lot. I wish there would have been a better road map of the layout. Like a sign at certain corners or in the center of the room saying " you are here " then have a list of places near like in a mall. Also showing places to sit or get refreshments.

Upstairs from WWD Magic was the sourcing show which is a great place to meet factories from Vietnam, Pakistan, India, China and Africa.

I wasn't impressed with the overall selection at WWDMAGIC, but there were many exciting exhibitors at POOLTRADESHOW and PROJECT. I did love the efficiency and organization at MAGIC and there were a fair number of very interesting talks and seminars on the schedule.

The February 2019 of WWDMAGIC was OK- Normally this is a very good contemporary fashion show with occasional mixes of this and that (not belong). But clearly noticeable trend of downsizing: smaller size booths, less booths (exhibitors), less people, quiet predictable merchandise. I will be curious to see the changes coming this August (2019), when the Mandalay Bay shows will move into the LVCC.
